Preschool-Kindergarten

A blended Montessori approach lends an appreciation of all living things through the study of language, history, social studies, geography and the sciences. Our curriculum is interdisciplinary, allowing the child to satisfy natural curiosities in related activities. The pre-elementary student acquires preparation for the elementary level through specially designed sensorial apparatus and practical life exercises. The classrooms are designed and created to foster optimum academic, social, emotional and physical growth in a multi-age setting. In addition to the Montessori curriculum, each classroom includes weekly foreign language (Sanskrit and Spanish), music, Values, and Yoga classes taught by specialty teachers.

For Kindergarten students, we pave the way for a successful transition from preschool to primary grades by offering a program designed to encourage the child’s physical, moral, emotional and intellectual growth. They develop good work habits, concentration, organization, coordination and independence. This program gives a strong foundation and gets the students ready for their elementary success.

What is difference between preschool and kindergarten?

In the United States, preschool provides informal education to children before they start school.On the other hand, kindergarten is the first stage of compulsory education offered to children at the age of five. This is the main difference between preschool and kindergarten.
