The Montessori philosophy is based on the belief that children are born intelligent, curious, and creative. It also assumes that children are ready to develop a sense of wonder and imagination. The goal of Montessori education is to inspire children to learn voluntarily, not to control them.

The Montessori philosophy involves respecting the uniqueness of each child, and their freedom to choose, to move, to correct their own mistakes, and to work at their own pace. Montessori educators work and interact with children from a place of genuine respect.

The Montessori Method encourages self-directed learning that promotes self-confidence, independent thought and action, and critical thinking. It also fosters social-emotional and intellectual growth.
